WHO WE ARE

Compassion Peace Initiative Coalition(COPIC ) is a Godly-nonviolence humanitarian & peacebuilding organization committed to providing humanitarian assistance to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Cameroon, West Africa to end hunger and poverty. We are also involved in educating, nurturing & empowering youths and the internally displaced persons(IDPs). These IDPs are victims of war mostly women & children.

Our model is simple; while giving them “fish” to combat hunger in the short-term, we also teach them how to fish for their long term economic self- sufficiency. Considering the fact that humanitarian work is widely established by experts as an integral part of peacebuilding, COPIC is glad to adopt this empathetic approach to conflict resolution, peacebuilding and post-conflict rehabilitation and reconstruction.

COPIC was founded in June 2019 and is registered legally in Cameroon.

OUR PEACEBUILDING IMPACT

As we journey for complete peace in Cameroon, we have attained some milestones worth looking at, which gives us hope that we will get to our final goal: Complete Peace in Cameroon. We have given humanitarian assistance to the interanlly displaced persons in various towns of cameroon, embark on various peaceful campaigns both online and at physical locations, and attended several events and conferences towards the peace process in Cameroon.
